Chris Eubank Jr. has been given a new, revised date for his rematch with Liam Smith.
The original encounter was scheduled to take place on July 1, but in the last minute Smith withdrew due to injury.
It was believed that Eubank will not be interested in the match anymore, but his promoter Ben Shalom gave different information.
“I expect it to happen and [for] it to happen very soon now that Liam has confirmed his 100% fitness,” he said.
“We’ve sent the date over to Wasserman [Eubank’s promoters] and hopefully we can confirm something next week.”
Eubank lost to Smith in their first clash back in January and will now be fully motivated to get back on winning ways.
