Just days after they got their 15 points back and climbed back up to third position in Serie A Juventus were beaten 1-0 by the future champions Napoli at home.
The Pertenopei were the dominant team of the night, but the Old Lady somehow managed to escape the goal until the dying minutes of the game when Raspadori scored the winner. Once before that the post came to a rescue for the home side after Osimhen shot was deflected into a defender.
In the middle of the second half the Nigerian forward had a chance to score a header after a corner kick, but Szczesny was on the right place to save.
In the 81 minute Angel Di Maria managed to score after a lightning counter attack, but VAR noticed a foul in the build up and the goal was ruled out. In the last minutes Vlahovic also scored, but the ball was over the sideline as Chiesa made the pass.
It looked like Juventus had no energy left after these moments and in the 92 minute Giacomo Raspadori received the ball into the penalty area and fired a great volley between Szczesny’s legs and into the net for 1-0.
