Tony Finnau went triumphant from his journey in Mexico Open as he beat second-placed Jon Rahm by three shots.
Finnau clicnhed his 6th PGA Tour win with five-under 66 to finish on 24 under overall and top Spain’s Rahm, with whom he shared 2nd place last year.
“It feels amazing. I knew I would have my hands full, ” said the 33-year-old.
“‘Rahmbo’ is on top of the world right now. It’s crazy how this game is – you never feel you have a tournament won until it’s over.”
The victory mean Finnau moves from 16th to 11th in the world rankings.
Rahm finished runner-up after failing to match his marvelous performance on Saturday, when he broke the course record with 61 shots.
Brandon Wu finished third, two shots adrift, while Bhatia came fourth on 18 under.
