The world’s tennis governing body ITF have announced Spain, France and Switzerland as the first three teams that will compete in the revived Hopman Cup this year.

The tournament, which has been a longstanding popular event both among players and fans and it will make a comeback, will be played in Nice after Wimbledon.
Team Spain, including Carlos Alcaraz and Paula Badosa, Team France with Richard Gasquet and Alize Cornet and Switzerland with Leandro Riedi and Belinda Bencic, will feature in Nice with all six players already confirming their participation.
Three more teams are set to be named in March.
