Evan appeared in 68 matches with the Colorado Avalanche in the past campaign, as he notched 16 goals and gave 23 assists in his debut year with the team. Rodrigues finished the postseason with 1 goal and 4 assists in 7 matches in the Colorado 1st round defeat to the Seattle Kraken.
The Canadian player inked a 1-year, 2 million dollar contract with Avs on September 22nd.
Evan has appeared in 385 matches in his NHL career with Colorado, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo for 8 seasons, scoring 69 goals and 99 assists.
He was undrafted as he inked his 1st deal with the Sabres in 2015.
