Morgan Frost’s brace started the evening off for the Flyers and they never looked back. Owen Tippet and Cam Atkins also scored, as goaltender Cal Petersen stopped 35 shots.
For the Kings, who were unbeaten in nine games in regulation Carl Grundstrom and Adrian Kempe scored. Goalie Cam Talbot allowed 4 goals from 26 shots.
The Flyers established an early dominance and their efforts were materialized into 3-0 lead, which proved too much for the Kings.
Grundstrom got the Kings back within 3-1 late in the second period, but Atkinson restored the three-goal cushion midway through the third.
The Kings responde again through Kempe, who scored in a fourth consecutive game, but there were no chances left for a comeback.
