The New England Patriots added to WRs roster K.J. Osborn, who signed a 1-season deal with the franchise.
New England had made an aggressive free-agent pitch to Calvin Ridley before Calvin chose to ink with the Titans. Even after inking K.J., the rumors are that the Patriots would want to add more wide receivers, as the best chance to do that will be at the upcoming draft.
National Football League scouts revealed the position as 1 of the deepest and most talented at the upcoming draft, and New England owns the 3rd selection, as well as picks at the top of the 2nd round.
Osborn becomes part of a depth chart that is led by veterans JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kendrick Bourne, and Jalen Reagor.
Minnesota picked the wide receiver just 4 rounds after drafting Justin Jefferson in 2020, but he didn’t become regular in the team until the middle of the 2021 campaign. After that, he spent a year-and-a-half as the organization’s number 3 receiver, behind Jefferson and Thielen.
Patriots new WR K.J. Osborn last season:

– 3 touchdowns
