English Premier League side Chelsea are on the hunt for a new manager after Graham Potter was sacked by the club on Sunday.
The British media claims that there are divergent opinions among the management on the selection of a new manager. The Guardian today announced that the club is in talks with Luis Enrique, who has managed Barcelona as well as the Spanish national team.
The publication adds another name to the list and that is Frank Lampard, who is close to a return to Chelsea after the former midfielder was spotted in the stands at Stamford Bridge for the match against Liverpool yesterday. The club has already started negotiations with the English legend.
Lampard was sacked at the start of 2021 in his first spell with the Blues and Thomas Tuchel was his replacement. Shortly after, the legendary Chelsea midfielder took charge of Everton, but was also sacked by the Toffees in the early days of 2023.
