Tyson Fury has made it clear he believes he will never fight fellow heavyweight Anthony Joshua in his career. For many British boxing fans, this is the pinnacle of heavyweight boxing and have wanted to see this clash for years and there were even two previous attempts to arrange a fight but it never happened.
Now Fury thinks that will never happen, as he told IFL TV: “For me, Anthony Joshua doesn’t exist. He’s just a gym sweeper who gets beat up, now he’s like an old journey-man. If you’re a decent heavyweight boxer and you want to beat someone up, call them out.”, he said “Nah, never”, he added to the question if he will ever fight AJ.
Tyson Fury expressed his dismissal of the possibility of a fight with Anthony Joshua, likening him to a “gym sweeper” and an “old journeyman.” Fury believes there’s no chance of a match between them ever happening.#TysonFury #anthonyjoshua pic.twitter.com/gRdF9768KJ

For now, Fury’s focus is on UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who he will fight on October 28. The two are due to fight under boxing rules in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but Fury’s WBC world title will not be on the line.
