Gauff was the more precise and clinical player and deservedly won, following her shocking defeat of world No.1 Iga Swiatek in the 1/2 finals.
The 19-year-old clinched her 5th title of her career, 3rd in 2023 alone as he eyes a strong outing in the upcoming US Open, which starts on August 28.
Seventh seed Gauff broke Muchova on three occasions in the first set and confidently served the next game to close out the first set in her first WTA 1000 final appearance.
Muchova struggled for consistency and a missed backhand in the fifth game of the second set gave Gauff the break.
Although the American failed to convert three match-point chances while serving at 5-2, she made up for it in her next service game to seal victory.
