The U.S. hasn’t won a world title since 1933, and haven’t been to the finals since 1956, but have won the bronze medals nine times since. They will have the opportunity to increase the sets to ten, and in the third-place match they will face Latvia, who lost to Canada earlier today.
Germany, on the other hand, is in the final for the first time and will try to win the title against the mighty Canada team.
