Giannis Antetokounmpo had a cleanup procedure in his left knee, and because of that, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar is doubtful for the FIBA World Cup that starts at the end of August.
After feeling discomfort after the end of the campaign, Giannis and his franchise decided that the procedure was a good choice.

Antetokounmpo plays joyfully for his country Greece as he was part of the national team last year at EuroBasket and the 2019 World Cup. There is still a chance for Antetokounmpo to appear at the tournament that begins in the Philippines. Milwaukee training camp begins in September.
Giannis suffered a few minor injuries in the past season, missing a couple of matches a few times with left knee problems. He didn’t play in 3 out of 4 matches in November and missed 5 clashes in a row in January with the same problem.
