The Milwaukee Bucks got a 132-125 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in a regular NBA season game on Saturday.
In their “Fiserv Forum” hall, the Bucks had to catch up with their Texas rival after the first quarter, which ended 34:33 for the away side. By the break, Milwaukee turned the score around, but in the third quarter, Dallas won 40:27 and led by 9 points. In the crucial latter part of the match, Adrian Griffith’s players were more active, winning it by enough of a margin to see them through to victory in front of their home fans.
Another strong game was played by Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who in 38 minutes on the floor scored 40 points and added 15 rebounds and 7 assists. The other big man for Milwaukee – Damian Lillard, accounted for 27 points, 3 rebounds and 12 assists for the same playing time.
On the other side, Luka Doncic was one rebound and one assist away from a triple-double, finishing with 35 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The most productive for the Mavericks was Kyrie Irving with his 39 points, to which he added 4 rebounds and 6 assists.
With this win, Milwaukee now has a balance of 9 wins and 4 losses since the start of the season, sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference, while Dallas is third in the West with the same balance.
