Free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. wants to return to the New York Giants. The franchise from the Big Apple is at least open to looking into adding the wide receiver for a 2nd stint with the organization.
After Odell, who is 33 years old, reiterated his desire at a flag football event in the past week for a reunion with New York, his ex-manager seemed at least open to that happening.
“Without a doubt, we will look at every possibility,” Giants boss John Harbaugh shared today. “And if Beckham Jr. wants to be part of our team, we will explore if that could happen.”
Harbaugh revealed that he has a strong relationship with the star wide receiver after their time together with the Ravens 3 years ago. Odell had 35 catches for 565 yards and 3 TDs in the current campaign.
But Beckham Jr. has appeared in only 9 matches in the last 2 seasons. The WR was banned for 6 matches in the past season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs and then went unsigned for the remainder of the campaign.
#Giants HC John Harbaugh said he has kept in communication with Odell Beckham Jr. (they were together in Baltimore).
"He's one of my favorite people in the world."
