The Vegas Golden Knights came out on top with a narrow 4-3 victory over Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the 2nd round playoff to take a 3-2 lead on Friday night.

Jack Eichel had a goal and an assist, as Mark Stone, Reilly Smith and Nic Hague each added another one.
Jonathan Marcheassault tied the franchise playoff record with three assists. Goaltender Adin Hill made 31 saves.
For the Oilers Connor McDavid scored two power-play goals, while Zach Hynan had a goal and an assist. Goaltender Stuart Skinner stopped 18 shots, before being substituted with Jack Campbell, who saved all 9 shots, thrown at him.
Game 6 will be held at Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday.
