Mark Stone on a power-play in the 1st period and Jonathan Marchessault in the 3rd period to tie the clash also notched for the Golden Knights. Goaltender Adin Hill had 26 saves.
Miro Heiskanen in the 1st period scored 1-0 for the Stars, and Jason Robertson, on a power-play, netted in the 2nd period for a 2-1 lead for Dallas, but both times, the franchise failed to keep their advantage and win the game. Goalie Jake Oettinger stopped 21 shots.
All 4 matches of the NHL semifinals have gone to OT, the 1st time in NHL history that this happened. Also, the Stars are the 5th franchise to lose 4 overtime matches in the playoffs.
