He was last playing for Phoenix Suns
The Memphis Grizzlies signed Congolese center Bismack Biyombo. Biyombo, 31, signed a contract through the end of the season worth $5 million.
The center was last part of the Phoenix Suns last season, averaging 4.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. Before that, he wore the jerseys of three NBA teams – the Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic.
Memphis is the only team in the NBA that is still winless since the start of the season. The Grizzlies lost all five games so far, which was unexpected after the team finished second in the Western Conference last season and was hoping to even top their last season success.
