The Spaniard claimed the title closed a chapter in Sky Blues' history.

Pep Guardiola admitted has “closed a chapter” at Manchester City after triumphing with the Club World Cup.

The Sky Blues won their 5th title in the current year with a 4-0 victory against Fluminense in Saudi Arabia while completing the set for Pep, who has won every title since becoming the team’s head coach in 2016.

The Spanish boss of Man City shared that his job was “done,” but with a year and a half left on his deal, he admitted he is still motivated to win more silverware.

“It’s a fantastic, fantastic day,” claimed Guardiola.

“I’m very proud, and I would like to say we had the feeling we would close the chapter; we triumphed with all the trophies, there’s nothing else we didn’t win. I had a feeling the job is finished, and it is over.”
