Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, was so pleased with Erling Holland’s goal in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace that he joked about the Norwegian’s goalscoring form.
“Erling has to score 5 goals in every game or we’ll have to deal with him,” Guardiola joked after the game at Selhurst Park.

He denied the rumors that the Norwegian is under pressure. “There is no pressure on Holland. One of his strongest qualities is that he doesn’t give up. Even if he misses a chance, he doesn’t slow down and scores at the next chance. Erling always thinks positively, and that’s very important.”
“If Holland doesn’t score for one or two games, people start talking that he’s not the same striker anymore. But the truth is, the numbers speak for themselves. Look how many goals he’s scored and it’s only March,” the Spanish coach added. The forward has 28 goals in 26 games in England’s top flight this season.
