Erling Haaland is feeling better after sustaining a knee injury during the weekend’s game, according to Pep Guardiola, but still remains a doubt for the upcoming clash against Young Boys in the Champions League.

“I spoke with the doctor and him,” Guardiola said of Haaland. “Yesterday he said he felt much better, but I don’t know.”
The striker was substitued at half-time in Manchester City’s 6-1 win over Bournemouth after twisting his ankle. Guardiola revealed, however, that the decision for Haaland to be taken off was rather a precaution than a serious concern.
It is still unknown whether Haaland will play against Young Boys in the Champions League.
“If he says, ‘I am ready, I don’t have pain,’ I will consider him to play,” Guardiola said.
Man City need a win to qualify for the last 16 and they would like to secure it as quickly as possibly in order to focus on matches in the Premier League.
