Heat defeat Celtics in Boston again and take 2-0 series lead

Miami won the 1st two games from the matchup away from home.

Jimmy Butler notched 27 points, had 6 boards, gave 6 assists, and got 3 steals as the Miami Heat shocked Boston Celtics for a 2nd time at TD Garden and beat them 111-105 in Game 2 to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference final.

Caleb Martin was also crucial for Miami’s victory with 25 points as Bam Adebayo added 22 points, had 16 rebounds, and gave 9 assists – 1 assist shy of a triple-double.

Jayson Tatum notched 34 points and had 13 boards and 8 assists, but he alone was not enough as the 2nd highest-scoring player for Celtics tonight was Jaylen Brown with 16. Marcus Smart was disappointing for his team, with only 7 points.

Game 3 is in Miami on Sunday.
