Cincinnati receiver still has not inked his organization tender and is expected to do it in the next few days, which will make Tee ineligible to report for Bengals’ organized team activities that run at the end of the month and June 3-6.
The franchise’s mandatory minicamp will be between June 11-13. Higgins cannot rejoin the organization until he inks.
The receiver and Cincinnati have been unable to come to terms on a long-term contract. The 2 sides haven’t talked about an extension in more than 12 months. Of the 8 footballers who were given the franchise tag this offseason, Tee is the only 1 who has not inked a multiyear deal.
At the beginning of May, Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow revealed his support for the receiver and DE Trey Hendrickson, who are both seeking new contracts.
“Those footballers have their business they need to take care of,” the Bengals quarterback shared almost 2 weeks ago.
