Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen limped off during Manchester United’s narrow 1-0 win over Luton and they will reportedly be sidelined for undisclosed amount of time.
The seriousness of their injury is still unknown, but manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping for speedy recovery as his squad has been severely depleted and more issues will further deteriorate the state the club is in.
United picked up a crucial victory on Saturday as they aim to recover the damage from their poor start of the season. Hojlund has had an amazing start to the Champions League, scoring 5 goals in 4 games, but has struggled in the Premier League as he is yet to score a goal, despite making 9 appearances.
Eriksen is also a regular starter for the Red Devils with 14 appearances across all competition. Mason Mount stepped in his place as the new signing is still trying to adapt to a difficult life at Old Trafford.
