Beverley started all 45 games he played with the Los Angeles Lakers

Just three days after his buy out from the Orlando Magic, Kevin Beverley is returning home, signing with the Chicago Bulls for the remainder of the season.

The hometown guard joins the Bulls amidst reports of Lonzo Ball suffering from a knee injury that has sidelined him since January 2022.

Beverley started all 45 games he played with the Los Angeles Lakers and averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

He joins the Bulls’ backcourt powerhouse of Ayo Dosunmu, Zach LaVine, Alex Caruso, Coby White and Goran Dragic.

The Bulls are currently 11th in the Eastern Conference behind the Toronto Raptors.
