Brandon and G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson were interviewed by the franchise a few days ago. In the end, Hornets decided to select Miller, who was the favorite according to the basketball experts.
Miller triumphed with SEC Freshman and Player of the Year honors at Bama last campaign after averaging more than 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per match. He also took home the SEC tournament’s MVP award and was selected as a 2nd team All-American.
All along, the entire Charlotte Hornets organization has been all-in on Brandon Miller — ownership, front office, scouts, coaches. They see him as a perennial future All-Star player.

Charlotte will have to put their faith in him and LaMelo Ball in the franchise’s quest to make it at least to the playoffs.
