Houston Dynamo have re-inked full-back Griffin Dorsey after his phenomenal 2023 season, as the defender would remain part of the club through the 2025 Major League Soccer campaign.

Griffin had an impressive 2023 with the club, playing 33 matches in all tournaments while netting 5 goals and providing 4 assists. The contract also features a side option for the 2026 campaign for the full-back.
The ex-Toronto FC defender was crucial for Houston returning to the playoffs for the 1st time since 2017, as they advanced to the West Conference final as well as triumphed with the 2023 US Open Cup as in the match for the trophy they defeated Inter Miami. The full-back netted the 1st goal at DRV PNK Stadium to secure his team’s 1st trophy since their 2018 Open Cup victory.
“Re-inking Dorsey was 1 of our priorities during the break between the seasons,” the MLS side announced.
