Corey Baird scored the 1^st goal in the 33^rd minute from a penalty. Five minutes later, Kervin Arriaga received his 2^nd yellow card and left the visitors with 10 men on the pitch.

Corey Baird scored again in the 68^th to secure the victory for Dynamo, and the Houston club will play at the US Open Cup quarterfinals even though they entered the clash as the underdog despite playing in front of their fans.
