Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud, who missed his organization’s victory against the Tennessee Titans in the past weekend and is still in concussion protocol, is likely to miss a 2nd consecutive match in the upcoming weekends vs. the Cleveland Browns.
“C.J. should miss another match,” one source shared today, adding that the team will continue to monitor Stroud’s progress before making a final decision.
The quarterback, who sustained a concussion in Houston’s 30-6 defeat against the NY Jets on December 10th, isn’t expected to train today as he is still in protocol.
If C.J. Stroud can’t play this week that means we get…
Joe Flacco vs Case Keenum
Two former Broncos QB’s, that were supposed to save the team, now in a position to help keep the Broncos out of the playoffs. I bet they tie to do the most damage to my dreams. pic.twitter.com/9FmPKo9DU8

Case Keenum will replace the injured C.J. for the Texans if the 2nd selection of the 2023 draft is sidelined on Sunday. Case played in the team’s Week 15 OT triumph as he finished with 229 yards, 1 TD, and 1 pick.
Houston inked ex-Jets QB Tim Boyle to the practice squad yesterday.
