Vegas took the 1st game of the West final.

Dallas Stars scored with less than 2 minutes on the clock to force OT, and Brett Howden remembers the previous day when Panthers won against Hurricanes in 4 overtimes.

Howden did the best thing possible for his franchise to win it after nothing after 95 seconds into OT and secured the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 win against Dallas at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, in Game 1 from the Western Conference finals.

That was the 3rd time in 4 matches this campaign these franchises’ matches went to OT. Stars triumphed twice in the regular season after penalties.

William Karlsson helped with 2 goals for the Golden Knights as Teddy Blueger notched the other goal. Zach Whitecloud finished with 2 assists, and goalie Adin Hill made 33 saves.

Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson each notched and assisted for Dallas.

Game 2 is Sunday again at T-Mobile Arena.
