Hughes departs from Travelers Championship in the 1st round

Mackenzie Hughes (Canada) has withdrawn from the Travelers Championship today as the reason for that is an illness.

Mackenzie Hughes played a full 18 holes today but withdrew from The Travelers Championship due to illness after his round.

Hughes (32), born in Hamilton, Ont., shot a six-over 76 at the tournament in Cromwell, Connecticut, before withdrawing from TPC River Highlands.

The player from Canada is number 68 in the world and 35^th on the FedEx Cup rank, as his best achievement recently happened last year when he triumphed at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October.
