Jalen Hurts scored yet another TD on the “tush push” that secured him the National Football League record for most rushing scores by a QB in a campaign with 15.
Jalen set the record on a 1-yard run early in the 1st quarter to give his franchise a 7-0 lead against the NY Giants. Panthers’ Cam Newton held the record at 14 rushing TDs for a quarterback in 2011.
The Eagles quarterback is close to another record as he is 2 TDs short of Philadelphia’s campaign record for total TDs. Quarterback Randall Cunningham had 35 more than 30 years ago in 1990, and Jalen tied him in the past campaign. Now Hurts will look to overcome him until the end of the season.
Jalen Hurts now owns the record for most rushing touchdowns in a season by a quarterback with 15.
