All-Pro RB Jonathan Taylor, who is in conflict with the NFL franchise over his deal situation, is expected to return to the preseason camp this week, according to the manager.
Jonathan has been rehabilitating an ankle injury in a different state in the past few days and chose to continue his recovery there rather than in Indianapolis. However, he must report for the training camp in the next few days.

“Jonathan should be back this week,” the head coach shared. “Do I know which day that would happen? No, but he should be within a few days.”
The Colts boss added that if the running back will play, the organization’s medical staff will decide only as the doctors must clear him before he joins his teammates on the field. The RB was placed on the PUP list when he reported for the camp at the end of last month and has been inactive since then.
