A rollercoaster of a game saw Gasperini's men emerge victorious

Atalanta have emerged victorious in their clash against AC Milan 3-2 with a last-gasp strike from Luis Muriel on Saturday night.

A heartbreak for Stefano Pioli’s men, who came from behind on two occasions only to concede a stoppage time winner. It is also a huge blow for their title aspirations as the loss keeps them 7 points from Serie A leaders Juventus.

Ademola Lookman opened the scoring for the hosts, before Olivier Giroud drew the game level right at the end of the first half.

Lookman was at it again in the second half to restore Atalanta’s lead, but stubborn Milan fought back and levelled the scoring once again, this time through substitute Luka Jovic.

But it wasn’t to be their day as Luis Muriel, a substitute for Atalanta’s, unbelievable backheel strike sank Milan’s hopes just a minute after they were reduced to 10 men.
