Inter demolish bitter rivals AC Milan 5-1 to go top of Serie A

Inter destroyed bitter rival AC Milan in a commanding fashion 5-1 to maintain their 100% win record this season and return to the top of Serie A.

Right from the get-go Inzaghi’s men were on it as Henrik Mkhitaryan found the back of the net inside just 5 minutes.

Milan seemed to have get back on it as Rafael Leao reduced the deficit, but a swift response from the league leaders saw Mkhitaryan again, Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Fratessi put the game way beyond Stefano Pioli’s side.

Inter are top of Serie A with 12 points from four games. Milan are third with nine points.

Juventus, second with 10 points, extended their unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory over Lazio earlier on Saturday.
