Last season’s Champions League finalists Inter have made it two wins in a row in their first two games of the new Serie A season.
The Nerazzurri started with a 2-0 home win over Monza and then beat Cagliari away with the same result.
This way, Inter won their first two matches of the Italian championship for the fifth consecutive season, which happens for the first time in the club history of the Nerazzurri.
Last season Inter won against Lecce and Spezia, but lost their third-round match against Lazio. This year, they will face Fiorentina on September 3 before facing city rival AC Milan in the fourth round. They played the Rossoneri in the same round last season, losing the derby 2-3.
