Inter got very important 3-0 win over Empoli away in their Serie A clash on Sunday afternoon.
The main man was Romelu Lukaku, who scored first two goals in the second half, which were his first goals from open play since last fall.
Inter had couple of chances in the beginning of the clash, but couldn’t convert them. Empoli was able to close down the lines afterwards and kept the away side at bay until the break.
Just three minutes after halftime, though, Lukaku combined perfectly at the edge of the box and fired the ball into the bottom left corner for 1-0.

15 minutes before full time Lukaku got the ball, broke into the penalty box and fired a low shot with his left foot that left Empoli goalkeeper no chance to react. In the 88 minute Lukaku got an assist to his name after finding Lautaro Martinez and the Argentine forward scored the third. Now Inter have 54 points and jump to fifth in the standings with a point over Milan, but their city rivals have a game in hand.
