Inter forward Joaquin Correa may miss the biggest game for the Nerazzuri this season – the Champions League Final against Manchester City following a muscle injury.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Correa suffered an injury to the soleus muscle of his right leg during the Coppa Italia Final against Fiorentina on Wednesday and is in ‘strong’ doubt for the Champions League Final against Manchester City on June 10.
The 28-year-old was also out from the Argentina’s World Cup squad the day before the beginning of the tournament because of a physical problem.
Correa’s injury means Simone Inzaghi won’t be able to rotate much in attack in the last two Serie A games of the season and Lautaro Martinez will have to work overtime in their fight to clinch top 4 finish.
