Inter has officially announced the status of their star player, Lautaro Martinez, who suffered an injury during the elimination match against Bologna in the Coppa Italia. In the same game, the 26-year-old forward also missed a penalty.
“Lautaro Martinez underwent instrumental examinations this morning at the ‘Humanitas’ clinical institute in Rozzano. The Inter striker has a muscular strain in the adductors of his left thigh. His condition will be reassessed in the coming days,” stated the announcement from Inter.
It is certain that the Argentine will not play in tomorrow’s match at the San Siro against Lecce, as well as in the away game against Genoa on December 29. He is most likely to return on January 6 during the home match against Verona.
