Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little netted an NFL-record 68-yard FG as time expired in the 1st half vs. the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.
Cam beat by 2 yards the previous record of 66 yards, set by ex-Ravens kicker Justin Tucker vs. the Lions 4 years ago.
The Jaguars kicker had missed 3 kicks in his team’s previous 2 matches – twice from 50-plus yard FG attempts and a PAT, but despite that, boss Liam Coen revealed that the organization still trusts him and they will not look to add an extra kicker to their team this season, and that the 2nd-year footballer out of Arkansas has their support.
Little made a 70-yard FG vs. the Steelers during the preseason, and his previous long during the regular campaign was a 59-yarder vs. the Lions in the past campaign.

There have been 5 FGs of at least 60 yards in the current campaign, which is already the most in a single season in the league’s history. There were 5 attempts from such distances twice before, but now that the NFL record has been broken almost 2 months before the end of the regular campaign.
