Jake Paul is set to meet Gervonta “Tank” Davis in an exhibition bout. The clash will take place on November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Florida, contested over 10 three-minute rounds with the weight capped at 195lbs.
Although labeled an exhibition, the event will have an official winner. Both fighters will wear 12oz gloves, and three commission-approved judges will score the fight if it goes the distance. The fighters are also enrolled in USADA’s highest level of drug testing.

Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP Promotions alongside Paul, confirmed the structure: “There will be a victor because the fighters have agreed and the commission has approved a maximum weight of 195lbs for this exhibition. The fight will be contested over 10 three-minute rounds… world-class professional judges will score every round to ensure there’s a decisive outcome.”
Paul, who has fought up at cruiserweight, carries a major size advantage over Davis, a decorated lightweight world champion. Despite that disparity, both men insist the matchup delivers exactly what boxing needs.
“I think there’s a lot of holes in his defense that a lot of people haven’t exposed before,” Paul said at their opening press conference. “I haven’t got a knockout in a long time, so I’m itching. I’m just excited to deliver that for the fans and have another most viral knockout ever.”
Jake Paul confronted Gervonta Davis about his past domestic violence case 😬

🗣️ Tank: “Let’s be real, I’ve been with more than one female. Wouldn’t more females come out and say something about me hitting them?”… pic.twitter.com/3Cbpr9HADH

Davis, meanwhile, sees the fight as a chance to bring new energy to the sport. “We’re just giving boxing what it needs, and that’s excitement. This is a good thing, both of us fighting. We come from two different sides of the world, and we’re still on the same path. Every time I fight, it’s fireworks. Jake Paul is bigger and stronger, but I’m much quicker. And we all know it’s harder for taller fighters to face a shorter one.”
