The £115m signing had a day to forget as his side lost 3-1 to West Ham
Jamie Garagher was full of criticism for Chelsea’s new signing Moises Caicedo, who had a difficult start to his career with the Blues.
The Blues were overpowered by 10-man West Ham and Caicedo was fully to blame for the Hammers’ third goal after his lazy tackle gave away a penalty.
“Caicedo has had a bit of a nightmare since he came on. It’s a poor, lazy challenge.” Garagher said after the match on Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old came off the bench in the 67th minute with the aim of helping his team overturn a 2-1 deficit, but the Ecuadorian was unable to protect the Blues’ defensive line.
Caicedo also lost possession eight times, made two fouls and had one shot off target in a day to forget.
