Jerry West will be entering the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for a record 3rd time, with his latest election coming as a contributor to basketball.
Jerry (85) 1st entered the Hall of Fame as a basketballer (1979) and as part of the 1960 U.S. Olympic team (2010).

This time, he is honored for his GM work with the LA Lakers and the Grizzlies, as well as his time as a consultant with the Warriors and the Clippers.
While working in these positions in the league, West teams triumphed with 8 championships, and he won 2 times National Basketball Association Executive of the Year (1994-95, Los Angeles; 2003-04, Memphis).
Jerry, who also triumphed with the title of a basketballer, was known as the architect of the Lakers in the 1980s and 1990s during his 18 years as GM, as he had a key role in Kobe Bryant choosing Los Angeles.
