The Gunners attacker Gabriel Jesus could be out for at least a month after a scan confirmed a muscle problem, head coach Mikel Arteta announced today.
The Brazil international netted and gave an assist to help his side return to the triumphing ways in the Champions League with a 2-1 win against Sevilla in Spain a few days ago.
However, the forward was replaced in the 81st minute after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Thomas Partey could miss the same period of time with an injury.
🚨 Arteta: “For Gabriel Jesus, the scans show there’s muscle injury and we might lose him for a few weeks again”.

“The scan revealed there is a muscle problem. We might lose him for several weeks again,” Arteta spoke of Jesus.
The North London club manager added: “With Gabi, I cannot give you an exact timeline because he always surprises us.
“But there is a problem. Jesus had quite a [high] load over the last month. It’s very unfortunate for our club.”
