NY Jets RB Braelon Allen, placed on the injury reserve list today with a knee problem, will be out 2 to 3 months, manager Aaron Glenn revealed.
Braelon sustained the problem during a kickoff during the MNF, and the team is still considering whether to have a procedure on what is labeled as an MLS problem.
“There are 2 options for him to deal with the injury,” the head coach of the Jets shared. “Allen could rehab this, or he has a procedure. But the rehab time will be the same in both scenarios. Braelon and his representatives will make the decision. I will not give him any advice on what to do.”

At the beginning of the week, Aaron claimed that his running back has a pretty serious knee problem, but didn’t reveal more as he shared that Allen will seek a 2nd opinion. Now everything is clear about his injury.
If everything goes according to plan, Allen could be back on the field at the beginning of December, or he could also be out for the campaign if the New York Jets don’t make it to the playoffs.
