Jimmy Butler was fined 27,000 dollars for refusing to speak to the media after Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The 33-year-old Miami Heat winger did not appear before reporters after the team’s 128-102 victory over Boston on Sunday. The team from Florida leads 3-0 in the playoffs.
Butler averaged 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game in the series against the Celtics.
During the NBA regular season, he averaged 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest.
