The quarterback has been sidelined for the last two weeks after sustaining a back injury in the 21-17 victory over the New England Patriots.
Brian Hoyer stepped in to fill in for Garoppolo and played again versus Chicago Bears on Sunday.
“I think he’s got a little pep in his step,” Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said Saturday.
Garoppolo return is a huge boost for the Las Vegas team as they aim to make it into the postseason and the quarterback is instrumental in their aspirations. Victory in the upcoming game will move them .500 with a favorable score for the next 2 home games.
