Jokic knew Nuggets were going to fall

The Denver Nuggets are far away from their best shape after three consecutive losses in the NBA Regular Season. However, the back-to-back NBA MVP Nikola Jokic is ready to lead his team back to the win column, despite misfires Sunday.

Jokic, 28, registered another triple-double with 35 points, 20 rebounds, and 11 assists against Brooklyn Nets, but even that wasn’t enough to get the win for Denver.

“Even in the All-Star break, somebody asked me what the goal will be. I told him that we are going to fall down and the key would be not stopping to believe in what brought us to the number one seed,” he said on Sunday.
