Jokic’s remarkable performance included 32 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists, setting an NBA record with his third straight game achieving at least 14 points and 14 rebounds. Despite trailing 56-40 in the second quarter, the Nuggets rallied with a 21-5 run to tie the game at 61-all by halftime, with Murray contributing 10 points during the turnaround.
In the third period, Denver took control with a 14-0 run, featuring 3-poiInters from Murray and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, along with Jokic’s scoring and playmaking. Caldwell-Pope also showcased his defensive prowess by limiting Golden State’s Stephen Curry to 20 points, despite Curry going 1 of 10 on 3-point attempts.
Klay Thompson played a crucial role in the Warriors’ early success with 23 first-half points, including five 3-pointers. However, he went scoreless in the second half, and the Nuggets capitalized on their defensive efforts.
