England manager Steve Borthwick announced his 33-man roster for the World Cup today, with winger Jonny May replacing Anthony Watson, who can’t compete at the tournament because of an injury.

Scrumhalf Alex Mitchell will also be available for the World Cup as he will replace Jack van Poortvliet, who is also injured.
The Rugby World Cup will be played from September 8th to October 23rd, with England, who finished 2nd place in 2019, facing Argentina in their Pool D 1st game. They will also play against Japan, Chile and Samoa during the group stage.
England captain Owen Farrell can’t play in the 1st two matches after receiving a red card in a warm-up match.
Billy Vunipola will miss the opener against Argentina after being sent off in the loss against Ireland. Elliot Daly, Tom Curry, Henry Arundell, and George Martin are named in the 33-man squad but are not certain because of injury concerns.
