“I don’t feel the same when I get in here anymore, it’s been 20 long years.”

Jorge lost after a unanimous decision, his 4th defeat in a row in UFC. The other fights he was beaten were again in the welterweight division – twice against Kamaru Usman for the title and from Colby Covington a year ago.
“I love everybody here,” said Jorge, 38, who quits with 35 victories and 17 losses. “This is where I started my career. It’s been a long 20 years, 50-some fights. Sometimes your favorite basketball player doesn’t have that 3-pointer anymore. Your favorite quarterback loses that rifle. I don’t feel the same when I get in here no more. It’s been 20 long years.”
Masvidal was also part of Bellator and Strikeforce before joining the UFC and made his first fight in the organization in 2013.
